Summer 2022

Conclusion of '21-'22 Volleyball season

JSSA-VC completed their season with over 20 wins across Omaha Metropolitan area tournaments. We wrapped up our competition year at the River City Jr. Classic. Coach and Board President, Chandalea Jones has seen much improvement in the JSSA athletes. "The growth from our players has been outstanding"

JSSA Community Day

We hosted over 50 participants in our first annual JSSA sponsored Community Day at High Point Pool. We wanted this event to be for our community to enjoy. Money was raised for High Point Pool and JSSA outreach. There were pop-up shops, swimming competitions, and self-care raffles.

JSSA received a $10,000 grant for our JSSA Volleyball Club program from EPIC!. We have purchased equipment, hosted our Volleyball banquet, as well as hosted clinics and open-gym for our athletes. Our organization plans to use funds to expand our athletes' knowledge of the game, host SafeSport meetings, more open gym times, and reduce fees for our athletes.

JSSA-VC Banquet

We had over 75 people in attendance at High Point Pool. Awards were given for Offensive Player of The Season, Defensive Player of The Season, and MVP. Our banquet had lots of great food and refreshments. Dinkys Delights helped to provide lots of delicious deserts. Detah Barber & Co. grilled and cooked for our event.

THANK YOU to High Point Pool, Dinkys Delights, and Detah Barber & Co.

Congratulations to our club players that made their respective middle and high school teams. Good luck with your upcoming season! We will see you soon!
